From April 10th to 13th a group of PhD students from INEFC (and me ;)) went to Prague for a Conference. Two of them prepared a paper to present and I helped them with the English language and the organization of the trip.
I'm still into my Master Degree, so I couldn't present any paper (even though afterwards I realized I could) but I didn't care... I discovered the way of going there and enjoy Prague, moreover: people & beer (amazing both of them!!). When we left Barcelona I was wondering how my mates would cope with the language there. None of them could speak English properly and some of them couldn't even understand it. Anyway, we all departed there with good mood and willing to have a great time!! Once there, I was the one talking almost anytime trying to manage the situation. I was successful actually! And after a couple of days they also were able to use Survival English...
In fact, we did have a great time. My friend Pavlína hosted me (really hospitality) in her tiny nice house. It was a pity that she worked so much by that time that we couldn't spend time talking about our life as much as we wanted. It'll be for the next time... Besides that, Katia also came from Bratislava after passing her DEA... CONGRATULATIONS!!! so we always had kind a guide in Prague because Pavel Landa, the conference organizer, also joined us.
Prague... Prague... I really wanted to visit this city. And I will go again because I liked the atmosphere there. I have never met any unfriendly Czech in Jyväskylä, Spain or wherever, I really think they (together with Slovaks) are very hospitality. Maybe that's because of their beer... Mamma mia!! The best beer ever!!

Hello Sebas
I’ve been to Prague many times and I never get sick of it. I stayed last September to study. I agree with you I love Czech people they are very nice and friendly and also a literate society, as you can see here in this government document. Besides the small streets, I also enjoy in this city the night life, the Prague music clubs are all so cozy and have such a nice environment and decoration and make you want to stay long. So leave you here a list of nice bars for next time: ) Yes the bear is the bet I ever had too! And so cheap!
